Week 37: Swiss chard, anyone??
So I go now for two ultrasounds per week and am on bed rest to keep my water from breaking. Here's the deal: the umbilical cord is lying between her head and my cervix. Not cool. It can't come first, therefore...it is like being on pins and needles and I am ready to "get her out!". It has shifted a bit in the right direction as of yesterday, so fingers crossed when we check again Thursday. Doc told me to call 9-1-1 if my water breaks, ride to the hospital on my hands and knees with "a gloved hand" holding the cord inside. See why we are a little worried???? That's all just too much!

I know everyone thinks their kids are awesome, but I am saying that mine are being so awesome it defies awesome. Waiting this baby out which has become high-risk, helping me with everything from school to cooking to cleaning, waiting through doctor's appointments, a trip to labor and delivery for a false alarm...so many things they are doing with no whining and no fussing. And Jason too, taking time to be home so I can actually have bed rest. And doing all the things I do in the day.

I am so grateful for my people (including the one with the camera!).
Trying to have fun instead of feeling overwhelmingly panicked...Lovie was already asleep so she missed her hand print.
