Last night was Game #2 for the College Park Athletics...after our sweet victory Saturday, we had a tough loss. HOWEVER, young Montague, #9, made it to third base with a nice ground ball hit!

Waiting on first base, right before STEALING SECOND and then THIRD!

Getting the pep talk from Coach (who he loves), on third base...

Baseball Ready. (Note that he is not picking his nose or grabbing his cup).

And he was Catcher for the game. And caught more than he missed!!
LOVE this game--who knew?!

One of the many beautiful Azaleas blooms at our new home:

Auntie Gail: This is the 5% SENIOR DISCOUNT Jason received at the grocer last night!!!

On the way home a couple of weeks ago...Natan just couldn't make it through a whole lolly--look at his chin!). Luckily, we were sitting in traffic so I could snap a pic!
(Note children in back READING CHAPTER BOOKS!)

Playing the Wii...and Vinny needs to wear a batting helmet.

Lovie helping with the laundry!

Back track to last Friday. We visited the High Museum of Art for one last chance to use our membership. Saw the excellent Frida Kahlo/Diego Rivera exhibit. The kids LOVED learning about Frida K. in school, so they had a good time seeing her work in person.
And posing.

TomandCeleste: Ask them something about Frida Kahlo!!!

Last Saturday's opening game--look at #9 strut his stuff!

Quick run-down:

George "has a new cat" in quotes because it is a neighborhood cat that he feeds WHEN it shows up. He named it Friday because the first time it came was...you got it! On Friday!

OK. They know I am the Easter Bunny, so Easter is a cinch! Notes to self: my kids love the crap from the Dollar Store MUCH better than candy.

On the other hand...Lovie hated all of it! In her defense, she was sporting a snotty nose, so I think the bunny ears hat would have gone over better had she been feeling well!

Mimi decorated brownies to take to Papa and Tanta's: Peeps on icing nests (we all agreed looked like poop), and Cadbury mini eggs. It was delicious!

Easter at Tanta and Papa's!
Our annual Easter egg hunt was in their basement due to rain--did not stop the kids!

Tanta was good enough to wear the Easter crown we made for her--we all had them, but they didn't last through the hunt!

Post-lunch floor hang--Lovie is snuggled next to Papa at the end!

 Showing Sadie "the chick"
Vinny can poop anywhere. And pose, apparently!

Counting the loot and enjoying the last game before Final Four action.

Great view from Tanta's balcony!
  Just happy to be there!!

Vinny: "Mommy...did you used to eat your boogers when you were a kid??"
Me: "Well, yeah. What else can you do with boogers?"
Vinny: "You should put them in the garbage can or on you shirt!"

For the record, I did eat my boogers as a kid. But I don't now. My tastes have definitely changed! My boys, however, find daily delights in their nostrils!!!
