And here we go!
Various comments overheard over the past few weeks...

Natan: I hope this baby is brown like me...

Vinny: How does the ability cord come off?

George: I am NEVER having a baby when I'm 43. It's too gross.

Natan: Did Daddy have to lay on you to make the baby?

George (loudly) as we were leaving our last appointment and heard a good, strong heartbeat: Well, at least we know THIS one isn't dead!!

Mimi already knows the details--she has always been curious about pretty much everything and wants information. Therefore, she just rolls her eyes and shakes her head!

We are terribly excited around here, although naming may pose a problem. The kids are reading through the Harry Potter series, so we could end up with a "Voldemort" or "Ron" or "Hermione--you get the picture. Vinny said he will call it Arthur or D.W.--NO MATTER WHAT. I have decided to name it myself with no help from ANYONE! Jason doesn't care...he said he is along for the ride!!

Well...it's been awhile!
Going back to July...

Jason's birthday. He chose (and cooked!) the first course and I made wicked-ass Coconut Cream Pie Squares.
 GAG, you would be proud!

 Mimi turned 9!!
 Natan slept.

He did wake up for a great visit from our B'Ham friends.

All four are playing soccer this year...and loving it!! We love that we can walk everywhere! It's a nice, 3-mile round trip through the neighborhood. No complaints!

Made it to 16 weeks with daily nausea and lots of secret- keeping! Mimi is holding the avocado--current size of Baby 6. Natan is very curious to know if this new baby will be brown like him...hmmmm.
And no, they are not wearing clothes made from curtains like Von Trapps--Ethiopian New Year!

Speaking of Natan--here he is with his Dollar Store "reward" for a great week in school. He insisted on a pair of reading glasses versus a toy. Love this guy.
